This Privacy Policy explains how Ace of Sports (“Ace of Sports”, “AoS”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal information.
We operate the Ace of Sports platform and website at https://www.aceofsports.com/ (the “Platform”). AoS is a sports tipping, rewards and discounts membership platform. We do not offer wagering or betting services. Our prize draws are operated as promotional trade promotion lotteries that support our memberships and shop.
We are based in Australia and primarily target Australian users, but people outside Australia may also be able to access and use the Platform. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
For privacy questions, you can contact us at:

When you take part in promotions such as “if you win, your friend wins too”, we will collect your friend’s details directly from them if and when they sign up and create their own account. We do not need to collect their personal information from you.
When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:
★ IP address and approximate location (for example, city or country)
★ Device type, operating system and browser type
★ Pages you view and basic usage actions (joining a league, submitting a tip, making a purchase)
★ Log data such as timestamps, error messages and security events
We do not currently use third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. If we introduce any analytics or tracking tools in future, we will update this policy and explain how they are used.
We may receive limited information about you from:
★ Stripe – payment status (success or failure), card brand and last four digits, and related transaction references
★ Delivery and logistics partners – delivery status and proof of delivery for orders and prizes
★ Hosting and infrastructure providers – technical logs or security alerts relating to our systems
We also maintain internal referral and promotion records (for example, which account referred which new account), but any personal information about a referred friend is collected from that friend directly when they sign up.
We collect personal information in several ways, including:
★ When you create an account or update your profile
★ When you use the tipping, ticket, league and rewards features
★ When you purchase a membership or products from the shop
★ When you enter, or are included (where applicable), in giveaways, promotions or draws that are live and open for entries
★ When you contact us by email or other channels

We aim to collect personal information in a fair and lawful way and, where reasonable, to ensure you understand why we are collecting it.

★ Fulfilling cash, voucher or product prizes for league winners and other promotions
★ Running mirrored ‘friend/referrer’ prizes for eligible draw-based promotions (where stated in Promotion Rules) once the friend creates their own account and meets the promotion conditions
At this stage we keep communications focused on:
★ Verification emails and one-time codes
★ Account, security and service notifications
★ Order confirmations and shipping updates
★ Prize and winner notifications (including mirrored “friend” prizes)
★ Responses to support requests and complaints
★ Essential service or legal updates, such as changes to our terms or this policy
We do not currently send regular marketing newsletters or run bulk email campaigns. If we introduce marketing emails in the future, we will:
★ Only send them in line with the Privacy Act and Spam Act, and give you a clear and simple way to opt out at any time.
★ Monitoring for fraud, abuse, multi-accounting and behaviour that undermines fair tipping, leagues or draws
★ Detecting and investigating suspicious or unauthorised activity
★ Maintaining accurate records of entries, draws, winners and prize fulfilment
★ Keeping giveaway and draw records for at least 3 years, and in some cases longer, to comply with legal and regulatory expectations
★ Complying with requests from regulators and law enforcement where we are legally required to do so
★ Diagnosing and fixing bugs and performance issues
★ Understanding, at an aggregated level, how features and leagues are used
★ Planning improvements to memberships, competitions and shop offerings
Where practical, we use aggregated or de-identified information for analysis and improvements.
We may occasionally use your contact details to send you information about:
★ Important updates to the Platform
★ Changes to terms, policies or legal notices
★ Prize and promotion information relevant to your membership
If we introduce regular promotional or marketing emails in the future, we will:
★ Clearly identify them as marketing
★ Only send them where we are permitted to do so under Australian law
★ Include an easy-to-use unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism in each message
We will not share your personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes without your consent.
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with:
★ Hosting and infrastructure providers
We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host and operate the Platform. Personal information may be stored on AWS servers in Australia or other locations.
★ Payment processors
We use Stripe to process payments for memberships and shop orders. Stripe handles your payment details and stores them in accordance with its own privacy and security practices.
★ Email and communication services
We use services such as AWS Simple Email Service (SES) to send verification codes, transactional emails and support messages.
★ Delivery and logistics partners
To deliver shop orders and physical prizes to your nominated address.
★ Professional advisers
Lawyers, accountants, auditors and similar advisers where reasonably necessary to operate the business and manage risk.
★ Regulators and law enforcement
Where we are legally required to disclose information, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, other users or the public.
Where service providers handle personal information on our behalf, we require them to only use it as instructed by us and to take reasonable steps to protect it.
Because we use AWS, Stripe and other third-party providers that may operate internationally, your personal information may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside Australia.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipients handle your personal information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles or an equivalent standard.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These measures include:
★ Secure infrastructure hosting through AWS
★ Access controls and role-based permissions
★ Encryption in transit (for example, HTTPS) and other security safeguards
★ Limiting access to personal information to staff and service providers on a need-to-know basis
★ Periodic review of our security settings and practices
No system can be guaranteed as perfectly secure, but we aim to follow reasonable practices for a business of our size and nature.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.
In particular:
★ Account data – we keep your core account information while your account is active. If you close your account, we may retain certain records for a period to resolve disputes, enforce our terms and meet legal obligations.
★ Order and payment records – we keep order and transaction information for periods required by tax, accounting and financial laws.
★ Giveaway and draw records (where live) – we keep accurate records of entries, winners and prize distribution for at least 3 years after each promotion ends, and in some cases longer where needed for compliance, audit or permit conditions.
★ Support communications – we keep support and complaint records for a reasonable period to manage our relationship with you and improve our service.
When personal information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.
The Platform may use cookies and similar technologies to:
★ Keep you signed in and maintain your session
★ Remember some of your preferences
★ Support basic security and functionality
We do not currently use cookies for advertising networks or advanced third-party tracking.
You can usually manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Some features of the Platform may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
Ace of Sports is designed for adults aged 18 and over.
We do not deliberately target minors and we do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. We do not currently ask for proof of age at sign-up, so we rely on users to be truthful and to comply with our terms when they use the Platform.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a person under 18 has created an account or provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@aceofsports.com. We will review the situation and, where appropriate, delete the information and close the account.
The Platform is operated from Australia and is primarily intended for Australian residents. We do not actively market or tailor the Platform to specific overseas jurisdictions.
If you access or use the Platform from outside Australia:
★ You do so at your own initiative and are responsible for complying with any local laws that apply to you
★ You consent to your personal information being transferred to, stored in and processed in Australia and in other countries where our service providers operate, in accordance with this policy
★ In certain instances, promotions may exclude some jurisdictions and may require redraws or alternative handling in accordance with the applicable Promotion Rules and law
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to:
★ Access the personal information we hold about you
★ Request correction of information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete
★ Request deletion of certain information where we no longer need it and are not required by law to keep it
★ Opt out of marketing communications if and when we introduce them
To exercise these rights, please contact us at support@aceofsports.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on your request.
If we cannot meet your request (for example, because we must retain certain records for legal reasons), we will explain why.
This section provides a high-level summary of how we approach refunds and returns for shop purchases and membership packages. The full details will be set out in our Terms and Conditions and any specific returns policy.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, repair or replacement if a product has a major problem, or, for minor problems, an appropriate remedy such as repair or replacement.
Our general position for shop purchases is:
★ We don’t offer change-of-mind refunds as a standard policy, but we may choose to do more than the law requires as a goodwill gesture in specific cases or promotions.
★ We will honour all rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty, unsafe or mis-described products.
If you believe a product has a problem:
★ Contact us at support@aceofsports.com with your order details, a description of the issue and any relevant photos.
★ We will assess the issue and let you know what remedy we can offer (for example, repair, replacement, refund or store credit), in line with the Australian Consumer Law and our Terms and Conditions.
Nothing in this summary, or in our store policies, is intended to exclude or limit your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Membership packages (for example, Bronze/Silver/Gold) are generally sold as prepaid annual memberships:
★ When you purchase a membership package, you are buying 12 months of access and benefits from the date of purchase.
★ As a general rule, membership fees are non-refundable for change of mind once purchased.
★ Your membership benefits (such as ticket multipliers, access to tier draws and shop discounts, if applicable) continue until your 12-month term ends.
By way of example:
★ If you purchase a membership package in March 2026, your membership will run for 12 months until March 2027.
★ You may be eligible for:
- Monthly tier draws that occur during your membership term (subject to Promotion Rules and eligibility at the monthly cut-off times)
- Other membership benefits during that period
★ Mega Giveaways may be marked “Coming soon” and may not be open for entries at all times. If a Mega Giveaway is launched and open for entries, eligibility and entries (including whether free members receive entries) will be governed by the published Promotion Rules for that Mega Giveaway year.
★ Purchasing a membership package does not automatically provide additional Mega Giveaway entries unless the Mega Giveaway Promotion Rules state otherwise.
We may still offer refunds or credits where required under the Australian Consumer Law (for example, if there is a major failure in the services we provide). The precise rules for membership duration, eligibility for specific draws and any auto-renewal or renewal options will be set out in our Terms and Conditions. If there is any inconsistency between this summary and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions will prevail.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will:
★ Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page
★ Where changes are material, provide additional notice, for example by email or through a notice on the Platform.
Your continued use of the Platform after an updated policy is posted means you accept the changes.
